How to charge your Mercedes EQS

Pull up close
Charge port is on the passenger side. Park so the cable reaches comfortably.

Open the port
Use the MBUX touchscreen or push the cover from outside

Plug it in
Insert the J1772 connector fully — you'll feel a click. Press the release button on top of the handle to remove.

Confirm it's charging
Look for a steady green light on the charger and a charging icon on the dashboard. Most cars take 5–10 seconds to handshake.
